My First Blog
Blogging is a totally new experience to me, and I am gradually being drawn into it. I don't really think I need a new hobby because I have enough trouble finding the time and opportunity to do the other things I enjoy! However, I'm intrigued at meeting folks on line who share my interests. Chat rooms never have worked for me, because I'm addicted to spelling, grammar, and complete sentences. (I taught 6th grade English for 13 years.) I've read many blogs that are well-written which gives me hope for the future of the English language! I find myself eager to meet some new friends. So.....talk to me!

No, 60 is NOT old! My mother is 60 - she wears ME out! I have found a wonderful blogging buddy in your daughter. You have raised an eloquent, lovely woman. Now get thee to thy desk and WRITE! :)

Hi,
It's great to find someone that enjoys their grandchildren as much as I do! I have a toy corner in the living room, and a garage full of riding toys and bikes when it's warm enough to be outdoors. I usually have at least one of them spend a night each week. I love being a grandma!! Mine range from 1 year to 10 years. I have 8 boys and 5 granddaughters. Thanks for reading my blog spot! I've been pretty busy with part time jobs lately but if you want to see some of my precious kids, visit my website too!

Welcome! Just a warning if youcome visit me,in my blog I use the English language with a bit of, shall we say, poetic license, though I was taught English by someone who was a stickler for grammar-- my dad!
